Race Overview
The annual Round the Island Race, organised by the Island Sailing Club, is a one day yacht race around the Isle of Wight, situated off the South Coast of England. The race regularly attracts more than 1,400 boats and around 15,000 sailors, making it one of the largest yacht races in the world and one of the biggest mass participation sports events in the UK. This is a bucket list race for any sailor.

Who Can Enter
In order to take part in some sailing race events additional training and qualification events may need to be completed. Please make sure you meet the criteria listed within this section or contact the team for further information.
