It’s just two weeks until the Knox-Johnston Cup kicks off for what promises to be a weekend of fun and competitive sailing on the Solent.

The event sees the fleet of Clipper 68s and 70s take on a tactically challenging racecourse around the Isle of Wight. The event also has some Clipper Race features to add some extra flavour. The race is split into legs, where teams can play a Joker for double points, as well as a Scoring Gate and timed sprint which provide the opportunity to add extra points if the teams perform well.

Named after the Clipper Race Founder and first person to sail non-stop, single handed around the world, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, this event is all about getting together with likeminded people and enjoying a weekend of racing, teamwork and socialising.

So, it’s time to introduce the best in the business skippers that will be leading the way for this year’s teams… and let the competition begin!

Want to be part of the action? There is still a limited number of individual spots available. For £650pp, you’ll join a team of up to twelve others for a weekend of fun – both on and off the water, including après-sail celebrations. And the best thing is, no prior experience is necessary as they’ll be a full day of training before the race itself.
